The Shanklin F-5A high speed flow wrapping / shrink wrapping line is a fully automatic system that can wrap up to 75 product per minute. The F-5A can be used as a stand alone system for flow wrapping or over wrapping products or can be used with the supplied Shanklin T-7HE heat shrink tunnel for shrink wrapping products for presentation purposes.
Shanklin equipment is well renowned in the packaging industry for manufacturing highly reliable and heavy duty industrial packing machinery. The F-5A features a continuous motion horizontal indeed system that’s designed to form, fill and seal products quickly and effectively. The heat sealing applications on this machine comprise of a side sealing trimer and an end sealing unit which combine to create 3 heat seals around the product producing a neat finish around the edges even when wrapping irregular shapes items.
The F-5A is a highly customisable piece of equipment thanks to the programmable LCD touch panel which allows the user to easily program the machine to suit many different sized products enabling quick and easy changing of product runs. The touch panel features a fault diagnostic tool that will indicate any active faults on the machine and will prompt the operator with the corrective action to bring the machine back on line reducing any potential down time.
