The Pneumatic MARK V cuts and forms component leads to a variety of configurations at high production rates of up to 8,000 parts per hour.

Versatility:
The MARK V processes components ranging in size form tiny diodes to large capacitors. Component leads of disc or flat capacitors, transistors, DIPs , etc. many be trimmed by manual feeding. Jumper wire can also be cut and formed. Attachments allow for taped or loose feed.

Quality Assurance:
Lead wires are securely clamped immediately adjacent to component body by an adjustable clamping finger system prior to cutting or forming. This feature virtually eliminates the stressing of lead wires at the junctures of the component body and assures the retention of component reliability. A metered pneumatic cylinder moves a high-mass forming slide at a predetermined acceleration rate reducing shock and impact loads.

Production Uniformity:
Fixed non-adjustable die sets assure uniformity of form configuration and dimension. These factory fabricated units are easily and quickly interchangeable. No guessing – No adjusting – No measuring.
