kawahara txs1100 1920x1080 (1)

Blanking marks the critical final stage in in-mold production. Machines from Kawahara, renowned pioneers in pin-bed technology, guarantee consistent, high-quality results every time.

Adaptable for a variety of applications, from in-mold labels to folding cartons

A significant challenge facing the global printing industry is the shortage of skilled workers across all production areas. As production processes grow more complex and time-sensitive, finding skilled workers capable of meeting increasing demands becomes increasingly difficult. Moreover, manual tasks often result in varying quality due to differences in individual performance, motivation, knowledge, and experience.

Furthermore, the high performance of modern printing presses, particularly in post-press operations where many tasks are still manual, requires a large workforce. This is especially true for manually blanking die-cut individual blanks. Additionally, the full potential of machines like the Speedmaster XL 106-D rotary die cutter cannot be realized. To address this, Heidelberg has automated another step in the production workflow by incorporating Kawahara post-press systems into its portfolio through a sales cooperation agreement.
