speedmaster xl106 D 2022 1920x1080

Heidelberg establishes new benchmarks in in-mold label production with the Speedmaster XL 106-D for rotary die-cutting, ensuring the high production speeds and quality synonymous with Speedmaster presses are carried over to post-press operations. In-mold labels find applications in various sectors such as food packaging, household and personal care products, as well as paint buckets.

Die-cuts in-mold labels entirely for seamless processing in one step

The rotary die-cutter ensures optimized sheet travel, enabling high production speeds and top-quality output. An exceptional feature of the Speedmaster XL 106-D is its compatibility with CutStar, allowing connection for die-cutting preprinted rolls with register cut. Additionally, at the delivery, an automatic tape inserter facilitates individual sheet separation in non-stop mode. When paired with Speedmaster printing presses, these rotary die-cutters form an efficient team for economically producing in-mold labels, offering up to three times higher production speeds, up to three times lower tool costs, and up to three times shorter makeready times. With its compact footprint and affordable investment costs, the Speedmaster XL 106-D single-unit rotary die-cutter is a versatile solution.

Speedmaster XL 106-DD

In a single operation, the Speedmaster 106-DD twin-unit die-cutter integrates a crucial production step. The first unit accurately places the injection hole using a die on a magnetic cylinder, achieving precision even with tiny holes as small as five millimeters in diameter. An additional extraction system ensures reliable waste removal.
