Description

The POLAR 56 cutter is designed for single-shift operation. It executes precise and gentle swing cuts hydraulically, allowing adjustment of the knife’s dwell time in the lower dead center according to the material. The stainless steel table surface ensures smooth material handling, even without air jets. The clamping pressure can be finely adjusted within a wide range using a scale-equipped knob, tailored to each cutting material. Bright LEDs clearly mark the cutting line for the operator. Machine operation is facilitated by an ergonomically positioned control panel featuring a 5.5’’ monochrome display and an additional membrane keypad. Recurring cutting sequences can be stored in memory (up to 198 programs) and modified as needed. Cutting programs can be created manually or intuitively via menu-driven block programming. To enhance cutting quality, the pre-clamping time can be adjusted based on the material.

Description 

The POLAR 56 cutter is specifically designed for one-shift operations, delivering precise swing cuts hydraulically. Its adaptable knife timing in the lower dead end ensures compatibility with various materials, while the ultra-smooth stainless table surface facilitates easy material handling, even without air jets. Clamping pressure can be finely adjusted across a wide range for different cutting materials using a turning knob with a scale. Bright LEDs effectively mark the cutting line for enhanced operator visibility, and operation is streamlined through an ergonomically positioned 18.5″ touch-screen display. With a memory capacity of 1,998 programs, recurring cutting sequences can be stored and modified as needed, while process visualization minimizes the risk of errors during material handling. Additionally, the pre-clamping time can be optimized based on the material being cut. For seamless integration into digital workflows, the machine offers optional compatibility with P-NET Compucut®.
